Football Recap: Valley Skates Past Castleford with Ease + How To Watch

Valley's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Glenns Ferry on Friday. The Vikings simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Castleford Wolves 48-6. Considering the Vikings have won three games by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Thomas Vargas, who rushed for 102 yards and two TDs. Brandt Jones was another key player, rushing for 42 yards and one score.

Valley now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Castleford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Valley will head out on the road to square off against Raft River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Castleford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
