Baseball Game Preview: McDonough Warhawks vs. Union Grove Wolverines

The McDonough Warhawks will challenge the Union Grove Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. McDonough has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 7.

McDonough lost 25-3 to Jones County last Friday.

McDonough saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Lee, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. The Warhawks are 2-1 when Lee posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-14 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Union Grove came up short against Ola last Friday, falling 11-1. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

McDonough's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Union Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.
