Soccer Game Preview: Petaluma vs. Casa Grande

The Petaluma Trojans will challenge the Casa Grande Gauchos at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Petaluma will be strutting in after a win while Casa Grande will be coming in after a loss.

Petaluma's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Napa as Petaluma made off with a 9-0 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Casa Grande's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Branson by a score of 3-2. The loss put an end to the Gauchos' undefeated start to the season.

Karissa Roldan and Ariadna Analco Ventura scored both of Casa Grande's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Casa Grande fell to 9-1-2. As for Petaluma, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-3.
