There's no place like home for Kern Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They never let the Desert Scorpions onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Thursday. The Broncs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Desert from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Aspen Hacker led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Kern Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Desert, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kern Valley will venture away from home to challenge Frazier Mountain at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert, they will face off against Bishop Union at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Union will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Desert surely won't give up without a fight.
