Softball Game Preview: Southwest Patriots vs. Howard Huskies

The Southwest Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the Howard Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Southwest has given up an average of 17.4 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Southwest's offense. They lost 17-0 to Dodge County on Thursday.

Howard played against Hephzibah on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Howard has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Southwest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.
