Soccer Recap: Shaker Heights Comes Up Short

Shaker Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canfield Cardinals. Shaker Heights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Canfield apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Shaker Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Canfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shaker Heights will challenge Euclid at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canfield, they will be playing at home against Boardman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Canfield their first taste of in-conference action this season.
