Baseball Recap: Oostburg Comes Up Short

Oostburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Kohler Blue Bombers, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Bombers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-6 on Tuesday.

Mason Montemayor made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one RBI.

Oostburg's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Kohler, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Oostburg wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-9 victory against Howards Grove on the 15th. As for Kohler, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Hilbert on the 15th.
