Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Irwin County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Baconton Charter Blazers on Tuesday, falling 9-2. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Blazers: they've now lost four in a row.

Irwin County's defeat dropped their record down to 23-8. As for Baconton Charter, the victory was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-1.

While Irwin County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
