Soccer Recap: American Canyon Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for American Canyon's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Petaluma Trojans on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1062nd, while the Trojans are ranked 382nd).

American Canyon's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Petaluma, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-3.

American Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, an 8-0 defeat against Vintage on the 6th. As for Petaluma, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Justin-Siena on the 6th.
