After flying high against Westwood back in December of 2024, Shadow Ridge came back down to earth. The Shadow Ridge Stallions took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walden Grove Red Wolves on Friday. The Stallions' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Walden Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Imileo Martinez led the charge by putting up 17 points. Mitchel Collins was another key player, posting 16 points.

Shadow Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Walden Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Shadow Ridge is taking a road trip to take on Boulder Creek at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. Walden Grove has already played their next game, a 76-71 loss against Bradshaw Mountain on the 3rd.
