Sacramento Waldorf entered their tilt with Foresthill on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They rang in the new year with a 35-28 victory over the Foresthill Wildfires. This was payback for the Waves, who suffered a 35-22 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Sacramento Waldorf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zoe Malena, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Ella Domin?, who earned six points along with ten boards and five assists.

Sacramento Waldorf smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Foresthill had strong showings from Kaeli Anderson, who put up ten points, and Amy Saxelby, who had six points and eight rebounds. What's more, Anderson also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.
