Baseball Game Preview: Brantley County Herons vs. Charlton County Indians

The Brantley County Herons will take on the Charlton County Indians at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Brantley County narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Thomasville 2-1.

Meanwhile, Charlton County waltzed into their match on Wednesday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. Everything went their way against the Buccaneers as they made off with a 15-3 win. Considering the Indians have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Charlton County's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Brantley County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-17.
