Recap: Lodi Flames vs. Lincoln Trojans
If the Lodi Flames were feeling good off their 46-19 takedown of the West Wolfpack last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lodi had to suffer through a rough 52-19 loss at the hands of Lincoln. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lodi has scored all season.
Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brelynn Brice led the charge by scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds and five steals. Brice is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Amya Vangkham-Griffin was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Lodi's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Lodi will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Kimball at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Lincoln will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tracy at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
