Football Recap: Hatch Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hatch Valley and Robertson squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Hatch Valley had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 29-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 38-20 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2016.

Omar Gonzalez threw for 58 yards on five of 25 attempts. On the ground, Peet Bothma rushed for 44 yards.

Nathan Gonzales was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 129 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 39 yards and one score. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in September.

With the defeat, Hatch Valley broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5. As for Robertson, their record is now 7-4.

Hatch Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Robertson, they will take on St. Michael's at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cardinals 14.5, the Horsemen 5.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
