Basketball Recap: Windber Beats Tussey Mountain for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Windber had won two straight games and Kaylie Gaye did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Ramblers came out on top against the Tussey Mountain Titans by a score of 73-61 for which the team can thank Gaye, who posted 34 points. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 20 points.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maelee Sheeder, who shot 60% from the field en route to 14 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Gabrielson, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 14 points and six boards.

Windber's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Windber will take on Blacklick Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Tussey Mountain, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southern Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
