Soccer Recap: Griffin Gets the Win

Griffin kept a clean sheet against Mundy's Mill on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mundy's Mill Tigers. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Bears were the better team in the second half.

Anthony Yanez and Jorge Ciprian scored both of Griffin's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Griffin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mundy's Mill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Griffin will face off against Northside at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. The matchup will give Harris County their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
