Softball Recap: Creekview Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Creekview and Pope meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Grizzlies took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Greyhounds earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Creekview's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Pope, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Creekview will take on Buford in a tournament on the 27th. As for Pope, they will face off against Roswell at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
