Shalom Christian Academy is 8-2 against Cumberland Valley Christian since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Shalom Christian Academy Flames' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers at 6:45 p.m. on February 8th. Hopefully Shalom Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.

Shalom Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 51-12 victory over New Life Christian. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-6.

Shalom Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Maya Lehman, who scored 17 points along with four steals, and Addison Adams, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lehman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaicee Keller, who scored two points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, Cumberland Valley Christian didn't have too much trouble with St. James at home last Tuesday as they won 43-27. The win was just what Cumberland Valley Christian needed coming off of a 60-25 defeat in their prior contest.

Shalom Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Cumberland Valley Christian, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Everything came up roses for Shalom Christian Academy against Cumberland Valley Christian in their previous matchup last Monday as the squad secured a 60-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shalom Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
