Volleyball Recap: University Prep Beats Grants Pass for Their Fourth Straight Victory

University Prep had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Grants Pass Cavemen by a score of 2-0. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavemen, too.

Audrey Berg paced University Prep's offense, picking up 11 kills. Berg got some help from Addison Maikranz and her 23 assists. Berg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

University Prep's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Grants Pass, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Coincidentally, University Prep and Grants Pass will both be playing Ashland the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Grizzlies at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cavemen will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
