Coahulla Creek lost to North Murray last Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Colts walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Mountaineers. The win was some much needed relief for the Colts as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Coahulla Creek's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for North Murray, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coahulla Creek will venture away from home to take on Union County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colts' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for North Murray, they will head out to challenge Rockmart at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
