Albany kept a clean sheet against Vallejo on Monday. They put the hurt on the Redhawks with a sharp 7-0 win. Albany's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Their offense was hitting Vallejo from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Sierra Yang led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Albany's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-2. As for Vallejo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Albany will be home for the holidays to greet El Cerrito at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vallejo, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Vacaville at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
