            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Mars). They took their  contest  on Friday with ease, bagging  a  56-0 victory over the Knoch Knights. The Fightin' Planets haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.
 Ayden Yocum continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 252 yards and four  TDs on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was  Colin Yurisinec, who threw for 111 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.

 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mars was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 375  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
 Mars didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Gabe Hein and  Kellen Garvin. Garvin got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Mars' victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Knoch,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mars is set to  challenge  their familiar foe McKeesport  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Knoch will  take on  rival Hampton  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
