Southwest Georgia Academy has gone 8-2 against Fullington Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Southwest Georgia Academy's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Westwood with a sharp 14-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Fullington Academy hadn't beaten Windsor Academy on the road since September 4, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Trojans walked away with a 6-3 win over the Knights.

Rayelee Johnson made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.

Johnson wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brooklin Cromer, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Cromer is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. McKinley Causey was another, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Southwest Georgia Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Fullington Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Southwest Georgia Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Fullington Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 4-0. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
