It was a proper cat-fight when Thornton duked it out with 21st Century Charter on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Thornton was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-15.

Thornton's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for 21st Century Charter, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Thornton has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Michigan City on the 11th. As for 21st Century Charter, they will square off against Lighthouse College Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
