Softball Recap: River Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

River Ridge was the 3-2 winner over Pope when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

River Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Pope, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Ridge will challenge Creekview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pope, they will take on Riverwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Greyhounds surely won't give up without a fight.
