Dougherty Valley entered their tilt with Livermore on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 48-27 margin over the Livermore Cowboys. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Livermore saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sofia Mahmood posted 15 points.

Dougherty Valley's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Livermore, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Dougherty Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-29 win against Washington on the 22nd. As for Livermore, they will challenge Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Livermore is facing Foothill at the right time seeing as Foothill is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
