Volleyball Game Preview: Greeley West Spartans vs. Windsor Wizards + How To Watch

Greeley West is 1-6 against Windsor since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wizards at 6:00 p.m.

Greeley West came up short against Fossil Ridge on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Windsor got the win against Poudre on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wizards in their matchups with the Impalas: they've now won three in a row.

Windsor never let Poudre on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-8, 25-16.

Windsor's win came from a few key players Greeley West will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hallie Burroughs, who had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Avery Smiley was another key player, getting 17 digs.

Windsor was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.

Windsor's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Greeley West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Greeley West suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Windsor when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
