Soccer Recap: Woodstock Takes a Loss

Woodstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Marietta Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 18th).

Woodstock's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Marietta, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Woodstock wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Etowah on the 28th. As for Marietta, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Walton on the 28th.
