Softball Recap: North Linn Comes Up Short

North Linn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Alburnett Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-5 loss on Wednesday.

North Linn's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Alburnett, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

North Linn has already played their next game, a 9-8 victory against Mid-Prairie on the 28th. As for Alburnett, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-2 win against Lisbon on the 28th.
