Basketball Recap: Billingsley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Billingsley lost against Jemison back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bears fell 55-43 to the Panthers. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Billingsley still got an impressive performance from Kyle Boice, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 13 points along with seven boards and three steals. Boice is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kalvin Thomas, who posted seven points and five rebounds.

Billingsley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Jemison, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Billingsley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Jemison, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Holy Family Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
