Soccer Recap: Imperial Comes Up Short

Imperial was the 8-5 winner over Yuma Catholic when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Imperial Tigers fell 3-1 to the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly two goals.

Imperial has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Yuma Catholic, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Imperial wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Cibola on the 13th. Yuma Catholic has also already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Yuma on the 13th.
