Softball Recap: South Hardin Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Hamilton on Monday, South Hardin came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Osage Green Devils by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since June 8, 2024.

South Hardin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season. As for Osage, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

South Hardin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Osage, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-1 win against Dike-New Hartford on the 11th.
