Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Live Oak). They secured a 44-39 W over the Corning Cardinals on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in January, they had to take a 37-31 loss.

Live Oak got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Larysa Myers out in front who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Sandrea Janda, who earned 11 points.

Live Oak's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 3-19. As for Corning, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Live Oak nor Corning have any future games scheduled.
