Softball Recap: Upson-Lee Takes a Loss

Upson-Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Jackson Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Wednesday.

Upson-Lee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Blanchard, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Upson-Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Jackson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Upson-Lee will square off against Fayette County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson, they will take on Luella at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
