Recap: Round Valley Mustangs vs. Anderson Valley Panthers
In what's become a running theme this season, the Round Valley Mustangs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 59-30 victory over Anderson Valley on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Round Valley also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Josey Spurlock had a dynamite game for Round Valley, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Camryn Mitchell, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Round Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Anderson Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Round Valley will take on Potter Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Potter Valley comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Anderson Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mendocino on Thursday.
