Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-5 to the Overland Trailblazers.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Overland, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will host Alameda at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Overland, they will head out to challenge Northglenn at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
