Basketball Game Preview: Los Molinos Bulldogs vs. Burney Raiders

The Los Molinos Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Burney Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Los Molinos ended up a good deal behind Redding Christian and lost 46-30.

Meanwhile, Burney had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They breezed by the Hornets to the tune of 54-26. With the Raiders ahead 42-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Burney's win came from a few key players Los Molinos will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Aaliyah Perez, who posted 15 points and eight steals. The matchup was her third in a row with at least ten points. Alexis Witzel was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 boards.

Burney has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Los Molinos, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Los Molinos came up short against Burney in their previous meeting back in January, falling 49-41. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Perez, who went 10 of 21 on her way to 26 points and six steals.
