Omaha Central is 8-2 against Omaha South since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Eagles will take on the Packers in a tournament on Saturday. Omaha Central will be strutting in after a win while Omaha South will be coming in after a defeat.

Omaha Central saw some tournament action on Friday. They blew past Lincoln High 10-2. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Links recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ada Jantzen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Nichole Palfini was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Omaha Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .652. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln High only posted an OBP of .267.

Meanwhile, Omaha South unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Omaha Central on Thursday, falling 14-4. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Everything went Omaha Central's way against Omaha South in their previous matchup on Thursday, as Omaha Central made off with a 14-4 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Packers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
