Baseball Recap: Hanover Central Triumphs

Hanover Central lost to Providence Catholic back in April of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with a 7-4 win over the Celtics. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

The team relied heavily on Dylan Bowen, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

Hanover Central's record now sits at 18-9-1. As for Providence Catholic, they moved to 18-15 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Hanover Central will venture away from home to challenge Lake Central at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Providence Catholic, they will welcome Herscher at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Celtics' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
