Volleyball Recap: Bishop Ireton Gets the Win

Bishop Ireton's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sidwell Friends Quakers. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Quakers: they've now won five in a row.

In the three sets Bishop Ireton was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 18-25, 25-13.

Kate Merrill paced Bishop Ireton's offense, picking up ten kills. Merrill got some help from Maggie Hodavance and her 23 assists. Anna Hudson controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.
