The Hay Springs Hawks are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Morrill Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Hay Springs is headed out to face Morrill after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Hawks blew past Arthur County 59-32 on Saturday. The Hawks not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since January 30th (when they won 58-15).

Hay Springs can attribute much of their success to Kya Binger, who went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to rack up 21 points. The dominant performance also gave Binger a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Another player making a difference was Devyn Young, who posted seven points in addition to ten boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, Morrill humbled Potter-Dix with a 50-19 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.
