The Parkway West HOYAS are taking a road trip to take on the Science Leadership Academy at Beeber Rockets at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Parkway West took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They claimed a resounding 54-27 victory over Martin Luther King. The HOYAS's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Nymira Bryant continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 23 points. Zaahirah Shabazz was another key player, posting 11 points.

Meanwhile, Science Leadership Academy at Beeber put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Maritime Academy Charter 53-11. Fans of the Rockets have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber found their leader in sophomore Raegan Wells-Bradley, who almost dropped a triple-double on 32 points, ten rebounds, and nine steals. The match was Wells-Bradley's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayla Hall, who posted four points.

Parkway West pushed their record up to 2-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.4 points per game. As for Science Leadership Academy at Beeber, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
