Sequoyah had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Sperry Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-1 on Wednesday.

Sequoyah's win bumped their record up to 31-8. As for Sperry, they dropped their record down to 18-17 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Sequoyah nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
