Softball Recap: Heritage's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Heritage entered their tilt with Calhoun on Monday with six consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Yellow Jackets by a score of 9-5. That's more bragging rights for the Generals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bailee Hollis spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Addie Wilson was excellent, going 4-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Kinley Eason was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Heritage kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Calhoun, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
