Basketball Recap: Pacifica Gets the Win

Pacifica lost to Moorpark back in November of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Tritons pulled ahead with a 51-50 photo finish over the Musketeers.

Aubrey Buchanan and Sam Olivas certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Buchanan went 7-for-12 on her way to 20 points, while Olivas posted 12 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carissa Smith, who shot 50% from the field en route to 11 points.

The win got Pacifica back to even at 1-1. As for Moorpark, their record now sits at 0-2.

Coincidentally, Pacifica and Moorpark will both be playing Palmdale the next time they take the court. The Musketeers will head out to face the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Tritons will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
