Duluth's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Norcross Blue Devils 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-4 back in August.

Duluth's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Pheobe Huang, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base was Huang's first of the season. Another was Maddux Freeman, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs.

The victory got Duluth back to even at 8-8. As for Norcross, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Duluth is set to challenge their familiar foe North Gwinnett at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Norcross will face off against rival Parkview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
