Volleyball Recap: Woodland Park Has No Trouble Against South Park + How To Watch

Woodland Park won the last time they faced South Park and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Burros. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Woodland Park was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-12.

Hope Cantrell was nothing short of spectacular: she had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave her a new career-high. Elliana Eichelberg also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Woodland Park was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 28 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Woodland Park's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for South Park, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Woodland Park has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Colorado Springs Christian on the 23rd. As for South Park, they are taking a road trip to take on Trinidad at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
