Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask AHSTW). Their defense stepped up to hand the Riverside Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for AHSTW as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Riverside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-6-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. AHSTW will face off against rival Missouri Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Riverside is set to take on their familiar foe Tri-Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
