Volleyball Recap: Freeman Comes Up Short

Freeman was the 2-1 winner over Alief Taylor when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Saturday.

While Freeman ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Freeman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Alief Taylor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.

Freeman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Mayde Creek on the 16th. As for Alief Taylor, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Morton Ranch on the 16th.
