Football Game Preview: St. James Wildcats vs. Many Tigers + Official Tickets

The St. James Wildcats will challenge the Many Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. James will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

St. James is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Berwick to the tune of 63-0 last Friday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

St. James found their leader in sophomore Jajuan Jackson, who threw for 222 yards and five TDs while completing 90% of his passes. Jackson's passing game has become a key predictor of the Wildcats' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Xavier Johnson, who rushed for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

St. James' run defense was locked in: Berwick could only muster 2.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Nolan Zenon for the heroic effort on defense: he. That's the most yards per carry they've posted since back in September.

St. James didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Myron Jasmin and Aydan Zenon. Zenon got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Many walked away with it. They walked away with a 35-27 victory over the Bulldogs on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their ten-point performance the matchup before.

St. James' win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Many, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
